Okay so first off, I am over these braces. I look stupid and eating food isn't any fun anymore. I am trying my hardest to look decent, but its really hard with these giant metal pieces on every tooth! I might be being too hard on myself, but I tend to give myself the benefit of the doubt soooo... yeah.
I wish their was some easier way to straiten your teeth and fix your bite, where is magic when you need it? I wouldn't say it has felt like three whole weeks, so maybe the two years will fly by. Here is to hoping.
Anyways, today I packed a lunch for work (good thing because I forgot my debit card) but I didn't have anything to put it in until I found this (picture below) that I had bought for my sister. It is a Barney and Baby Bop purple lunch box, she had one when she was little and I found it in a thrift store thinking she would like the blast from the past. Cool! But, between the lunch box and the braces I am pushing middle school age.

Braces for my 25th Birthday
My dentist also gives out "Got Braces?" shirts. You get mad props if you wear it to each appt. It's a really magical place.
Here are the actual before pictures of my teeth; its a little gross to look at. I have a 9mm overbite and a really narrow palate. The Orthodontist suggested that I could use jaw surgery but they want to try to fix the problems without it using lots of rubber bands (mainly because jaw surgery is over 12,000 dollars and this girl don't got that dough).
